Sending Custom Form data to an Integration

Sometimes you need more control over the fields that a user fills in when submitting a new conversation to your team than the stock standard fields in the Support Module.

In that situation, you can have your Custom Form module send the form data through to any Support integration you've setup.

To do so, first you'll need to head to the integrations area and setup an integration with a Conversations type integration (we recommend Dixa).

Once connected, you can create or update any of your custom forms, and under Deliver To select the integration you setup.

NB Be sure to have an email field (of type email) in your custom form, so the conversation submitted can correctly be attributed to the right customer. If you are logging users in to the Assistant, you can omit an email field, and we'll grab the logged in users email.

Attachments will not be added to the conversation as files, but instead as direct links to the uploaded files for you to download.
