Intro to Modules

Modules are like little apps that run inside the elevio Assistant. We know people might not just need to read articles, they might need to contact you, or read your blog, or start a chat, or do any number of things. That's where modules come in!

With the right module setup, anything can be done from within the assistant, keeping your user focused in your app and not opening other tabs or leaving the page to get what they need.

Support Module

Connect your support system to elevio to let users see/manage/send you tickets through the assistant. Read more here.

Custom Form Module

Setup your own form to gather feedback, do a survey, receive support tickets (if you don't have a ticketing system). Read more here.

Embed URL Module

Take any page, knock it down to a mobile size, and show it fully functioning in the Assistant. A very powerful tool in the right (or wrong) hands. Read more here.

Trigger Module

Setup a module that triggers a Live Chat (or a Custom Trigger). This means elevio is a one stop shop for all of your support mechanisms! Read more here.

Link Module

The simplest module. Clicking this module will link the user to wherever you have sent them.

RSS Module

Embed your blog into elevio, complete with a few nice presentation settings. Read more here.

Single Article Module

Take a really really important article and highlight it by giving it its own module. You can even use Smart Groups to change where and for who it appears.

Site Status Module

An integration with statuspage.io. Installing this module means users can check out how your service is running from within the Assistant. Check ours out here.

Articles Module

The default module that lets users get to your articles and also has a few nice little settings like how they'll appear and whether they'll ask for feedback.
