Smart Groups are Not Selected in the Editor

We recently rolled out Smart Groups to all users. As part of the migration, all published articles successfully had all of their existing groups of restrictions each transformed into a Smart Group.

This means that all restrictions should be working as expected.

However, any article that was in a state of revision (i.e. had unpublished changes) while the migration was taking place will not have Smart Groups applied on their current revision. The Smart Groups will therefore appear unchecked in the Editor when viewing the current revision. This means that if you want to publish these articles again with their new changes, you'll need to add its respective Smart Groups again before publishing.

Can't Remember which Smart Groups were Applied?

To view the Smart Groups successfully applied on the published version in the article, simply toggle to the Last Published view by selecting View Last Published. You can then scroll down to see the selected Smart Groups in the settings panel.
