To help your users find the right answer to their question, when they're viewing an article in the Assistant or knowledge base (KB), we'll show them other articles that are related.

That way they can discover other articles that might also help answer their original question or other related questions they might have.

How do I enable it?

  • Head to module settings.
  • Click the pencil icon next to the article module to edit it. Note your module may be called something different.
  • Enable the related articles feature.
  • Wait a couple of minutes for the change to take effect.
  • When you view an article in the Assistant or KB, you should now see the Related articles section at the bottom (Assistant) or to the left of the article (KB).

How does it work?

When generating the suggestions, we look at 5 articles that are most similar to the one you're viewing based on the number of words they have in common in the title and body. The more words they share, the higher the articles are ranked.
